Online Class: Introduction to Dahlia Tissue Culture- Saturday April 25th 9am-11am Pacific Time

This is a two-hour online class. The intent of this class is to provide a basic understanding of dahlia meristem tissue culture. My goal is for you to leave the class feeling confident in your skills to grow virus free dahlias from tissue culture. Class size is limited to 10-20 students per session to provide the best learning experience. 

Class will be split into three parts with a Q&A to answer all your questions

1. Part 1: Tissue culture basics with an overview of the entire dahlia meristem tissue culture process from start to finish.  
2. Part 2: I share videos I've created of some of the more technical steps. This is what I wish I had when I was starting out. 
3. Part 3: In the lab (virtually). I walk you through the tissue culture media making process and meristem excision process. 
4. Q&A: Open for questions and discussion around dahlias and tissue culture. If we go past the two hours, I am happy to stay so you get all the information you need.

This class has been several years in the making. Everything that I share with you I have tested myself. I will openly share both my successes and failures as well as my future goals and techniques. The class is intended for beginners. While some portions are technical, I have designed it so that anyone can learn the process without needing a science background. I'm so excited to share this with you.
