Snoho Sonia will keep you on your toes all season long. For us, she starts out a light blush color and turns into a deeper pink/purple closer to fall. Both colors throughout the season are stunning. We don't mind the change around here.

This listing is for one (1) dahlia tuber. All tubers will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail beginning in April, weather permitting.

Shipping: Please note that I do NOT ship internationally.

All tubers will begin shipping in April, weather permitting. This is to prevent risk of tubers freezing during shipment. Please open your package immediately and report any issues within 14 days. Tubers are perishable and will need to be kept in a cool (but not freezing, dry, dark place until planting.

Pest and disease prevention: Bloomtown Flowers is inspected during the growing season by the WSDA (Washington State Department of Agriculture) for disease & pests.

In order to prevent disease, we follow a regimented integrated pest management program and disinfect all tools between plants when cutting flowers and dividing tubers. My goal is to get you happy, healthy tubers and plants.

Ordering: Placing a tuber in your cart does not guarantee it will be available before checkout. I am a very small farm and my stock on some varieties is limited. Some varieties will go quickly.

Once an order has been placed, I cannot add or subtract items. If you want any additional tubers not included in your original purchase, please place a new order. At this time, I am unable to combine separately placed orders.

Dahlia care: Wait until all danger of frost is past before planting. Dahlias should not be planted outdoors until ground temperature reaches 55-60 degrees. Hold off planting if the forecast is predicting rain. Overwatering newly planted tubers may lead to rot.

Dahlias thrive in rich, well-drained soil. Use slug and snail bait at planting, don't wait until the sprout appears.

Dahlias should be planted in full sun in a location that receives a minimum of 6-8 hours of sun.

Most dahlias grow quite tall and require support, similar to tomato plants.

Most importantly, I hope these tubers grow into beautiful plants that bring you joy for years to come. Thank you for supporting my small business!
